How to Unmint on Mainnet Beta?

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, please ensure you have:

  • An EVM-compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask) with available YBTC.
  • A Bitcoin wallet (e.g., UniSat) to receive BTC.

1. Connect Your Ethereum Wallet​

Visit BitVM Bridge and connect your Ethereum wallet.

2. Confirm Amount and Bitcoin Address​

Select the YBTC amount you want to unmint, and provide your Bitcoin wallet address.

3. Confirm​

You have 10 chances to unmint within 24 hours.

Note: You need to approve a YBTC amount to be used for the first time.

4. Unminting YBTC​

YBTC will be burned on Ethereum first, and then Broker will transfer BTC to your BTC address. This operation will take60-100 minutes.
